THE WILTED BLUE MOON
Do you hear the wind In the night howling for the wilted moon - It's fading! It left me in the dark night in a cold and misery night all alone, it's fading away !
The moon is wilting away My love, tell me, tell me why LOVE, too, leaving me tonight ? Look at me, turn and look at me Oh, the shadow of your eyes, dark and shading mine Taking away the moon and its light The blue moon that no longer shines As your LOVE is no longer mine !
Oh! How I miss it Love were once shining And the moonlight was bright among the stars It was dancing, dancing its way, in the sky Oh! How beautiful the blue moon shined
Is that tears from my eyes Or the droplets of a misty night ? Is it for my love and the wilted moon that I cry ? It's fading away or has it died The blue moon is no longer shined Love is no longer mine It no longer shined tonight The Blue Moon and Love no longer shined tonight
