Miami- There will be a one day Art workshop at the beach
to call on beach lovers and art makers to participate in the OceanUS
Beach Cleanup powered by The Peace Mural Foundation at Historical
Virginia Key Park on Saturday, August 30, from 9am -sundown
The Peace Mural Foundation is in search of hard working individuals with
kind hearts and positive energy to join us on this amazing art and
community involvement opportunity.
The Peace Mural’s OceanUS project is a platform to bring awareness to
all the damage we are causing our marine environments with pollution,
lack of consciousness, and contamination.
We welcome you to participate in our current Ocean Preservation Mural (OceanUS)
that will be finished this November to be revealed during Art Basel!
The mural is 8' x 200' and is designed by the founder of the Peace Mural
Foundation.
The Peace Mural has collaborated with Historic Virginia Key Beach Park
to host a day of art and service on August 30, 2014 as part of this
interactive project.
There will be an art show and participants will have the opportunity to
serve their community by helping to clean and restore the beach and
create art outdoors with the ocean as our backdrop. The first 40 people
will get to use Pebeo liquid paints and be part of the mural.
The sea has offered each and every single one of us an unforgettable
memory, bring this issue close to your heart and join us as we encourage
the conservation of our marine environments.
